New work from Marc Pagès-Gallego (Dansen and de Ridder) allows identification of damaged DNA using nanopore sequencing

Marc generated synthetic long 8-oxo-dG (oxidative damage) DNA molecules and developed a deep learning model to identify this DNA damage using nanopore sequencing. Please find the paper here for more details.
